Nathaniel Williams a.k.a. Kibou is a creative and versatile DJ and producer from the capital city of London in the United Kingdom. Known predominantly for his unique take on big classic sounds, and engrossing live sets, his popularity has risen, gaining fans throughout Europe and beyond.
Although many DJ’s have a musical background, Nathaniel’s father was also a DJ, playing raves around London in the early 90’s. While other kids were listening to the latest chart hits, Nathaniel grew up listening to underground music. Artists of inspiration included Armand Van Helden, The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Faithless, The Prodigy, Justice, Alan Braxe & Fred Falke.
Kibou’s sound can best be described as feel good music. It’s the fun and uplifting side of house, often taking influence from disco and 90’s electronic music.
As well as being a talented DJ and producer, Nathaniel has also learned to play the keyboard, drums and guitar and has worked as an actor, a skill that has assisted with his confident and animated stage performances.
Since his first DJ booking at a school party at 14, he’s gone on to wow crowds as big as 1,000 capacity, at venues such as XOYO, The Nest, Be At One, Bounce, Tonight Josephine, The Lost Alhambra, Patch East and other venues in and around London including many boat parties on the Thames.
As a producer Kibou has featured on Solid State Disco, and Fst n Fwd Records, with his tracks reaching high positions in Beatport and Traxsource disco and house charts, some with gaining over 200k plays.
Currently Kibou has joined the team at Exigo records, a new and exciting house music label with the first 4 releases all charting highly. With new music already signed and worldwide DJ bookings for next year being discussed, 2021 is set to be a promising year for Nathaniel aka Kibou.
