How did you get into DJing?

 I was 19 and my girlfriend at the time and I used to listen to lots of jungle and DnB tape packs, she suggested I buy some turntables and vinyl, and the rest is history (though I’ve moved on from jungle and DnB now)

Where was your first ever gig?

 Probably at somewhere like The Volks or Ocean Rooms in Brighton, playing vinyl only sets to jungle fans

 What drew you into a career as a DJ and music producer?

 I love making people dance

 What is your favourite house genre?

 Afrohouse/afrotech/minimal

 As a DJ what house genres do you specialise in

 Afro house/afrotech/disco house/jacking/nu-disco

 What is your favourite festival of all time?

 Probably Bestival about 9 years ago

What is the best advice you’ve been given?

It was about my PhD, but an old tutor of mine once said, “the only good PhD is a finished PhD”. I guess that applies to any endeavour.
